Zack Zavalydriga has spent over 20 years in the CPG sector, operating brands in both corporate and private equity. From 2014 - 2020, Zack had been an executive (SVP of Global Sales) at DevaCurl, helping lead the brand’s 2017 private equity transaction to ARES, as well as its final transaction in 2019, to Henkel AG & Company. Present day, Zack serves on the boards of Cohere Beauty (a 4-site beauty & personal care contract-manufacturing rollup, backed by PE firm CORE Industrial Partners); Yellow Wood Partners’ Beacon Wellness Brands (a wellness CPG platform in Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens); and is Vice Chairman of the board of cosmetics brand WinkyLux (a masstige makeup brand retailed in Ulta & Amazon). Previously, in the prestige skincare category, Zack was also on the Board of Peace Out Skincare (a prestige skincare/acne brand in Sephora & Ulta) through its PE growth investment from 5th Century. Originally from Allentown, PA, Zack graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh earning a degree in Marketing, and later joined L’Oreal in New York City. In total Zack spent ten years at L’Oreal in various business roles, namely the hair brand Redken and Pureology. Thereafter, he joined DevaCurl in early 2014 and helped drive the two successful exits outlined above. In addition to his board roles, Zack has been through multiple transactions as an advisor to founders in the Beauty & Personal Care sector (for brands such as K18 Hair, which exited to Unilever in 2024, and DS Labs which exited to Megalabs in 2024); a diligence-advisor to various [confidential] private equity firms focusing on Skincare, Fragrance, Hair Care, and Cosmetics brands; and more important than any business accomplishment... a dedicated and loving father to his two young children.
