4. How we share information
Service providers. We share data with vendors that help us run Orbit, including Supabase (database + auth), our email/SMTP provider, and OAuth providers when you sign in with Google or LinkedIn. These vendors are bound by data-processing agreements.
Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Beauty Independent, our users, or others.
Aggregated data. We may share de-identified, aggregated statistics that cannot reasonably be linked back to you.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure how the service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
6. Your choices and rights
You can review and update your account information at any time on your profile. To delete your account, contact legal@beautyindependent.com. Where local law gives you specific rights (such as the EU GDPR or California CCPA / CPRA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, port, or restrict the use of your personal information.
7. Data retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Activity logs are typically retained for up to twenty-four months.
