Robert has served as CEO of VB Cosmetics, Inc. since 2023, and has worked at the company since 2018. The company’s brand is Dazzle Dry, a game-changing nail polish system developed by its founder, Dr. Vivian Valenty. VBC is a fully integrated company with about 100 employees, and does its own research and product development, and all production and bottling in its 40,000 sq ft facility in Chandler, Arizona. The company sells its products principally in the USA through its own websites to both D2C and professional channels and through Amazon. VBC and Dr. Valenty have won numerous national and regional awards. The company has ongoing commitments with community and international organizations to advance social change, especially focusing on education programs for girls and women. Robert has led the company through 4X sales growth over the past four years. To generate and support this growth, he’s recruited and internally developed a professional leadership team to strengthen internal and agency marketing, expand product development capabilities, manage facility and capital expansion, and build award-winning human capital programs. He’s also worked with the owners to recruit an advisory board with strong industry expertise. He shares the owners’ passion to work as a team, to treat people fairly and to build long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and employees. Before joining the company, Robert worked as the CFO or President in manufacturing, service, and consumer products industries, including multi-site food processing, specialty metals and aerospace manufacturing, equipment manufacturing, consumer products research, and bottled beverages. He also was a partner in a Portland CPA firm for a decade, working with clients to profitably expand operations and manage business transitions.
