Nathan Puksta is the Founder & CEO of FILAMENT SCIENCES, a research and development company that makes advanced professional haircare products. As a chemical formulation expert with nearly 20 years experience in the global beauty industry, Nathan focuses on developing clinically-proven results driven products and ingredient structures that push the evolution of haircare to aid salon professionals and dermatologists. Over his career, he has previously held executive leadership roles at L’Oréal serving as CEO, CMO, and CDO for brands including Kiehl’s Since 1851 and Baxter of California, where he drove brand transformation, innovation, and growth at scale. Outside of L’Oreal, he has founded and scaled multiple companies from inception to exit and has partnered with high-profile celebrities and Hollywood entrepreneurs as co-founder and operating partner. A graduate of Yale University with Business School training from MIT, Nathan is also a formerly trained hair stylist and esthetician, combining practical application knowledge of the beauty industry with formal professional training.
